IMAC Golf Day raises US $20,000 for Educational Scholarship Fund!


George Town, Grand Cayman, 7 November 2022 – The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman is pleased to announce that their 2022 golf scramble held on Friday, 28 October raised twenty thousand dollars to benefit their Educational Scholarship Fund.

Grant Thornton, Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Ltd and Walkers, generously co-sponsored the event, with Grant Thornton also sponsoring the Grant Thornton US$1m Hole in One Challenge.

“Grant Thornton was delighted to continue our sponsorship of the IMAC Golf Day in aid of the IMAC Educational Scholarship Fund,” says Dara Keogh, Managing Partner at Grant Thornton Cayman Islands, “and extend warm appreciation to all who participated in and supported the success of this year’s fundraising event.”

A special thank you to all the players, volunteers, North Sound Golf Club, TRAC Automotive, Chef Lloyd and to all local companies that donated goods and services to support this event. Raffle items were donated by the Ritz Carlton, Cayman Islands Brewery, Global Captive Management, Luca, Union Grill & Bar, Camana Bay Cinema, Market Street Group, Grant Thornton and Scotiabank & Trust (Cayman) Ltd.
