George Town, Grand Cayman, September 21, 2023 – Members of the Cayman Islands Insurance industry came together at the Kimpton Seafire Hotel on Saturday 16th September to support the 11th Annual Gala & Scholarship Fundraiser held by the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC). This year the event was disco themed which meant many attendees got into the spirit by dressing up for the evening in full disco gear to dance the night away.
The annual event raises funds for the Educational Scholarship Fund which over the years has raised in excess of US$5 million and has enabled 65 young Caymanians pursue further studies around the globe in disciplines as diverse as Business Management, Public Relations, Aviation Management, and various areas covering the Arts and Sciences.
Heather Deveau, Co-Chair of the IMAC Education committee commented “IMAC is pleased to continue to do its utmost to support our youth and support the educational development of the next generation. It is also great to see the Insurance Management community come together for such a fun event while raising funds for such a worthy cause.”
With a record turnout of over 370 attendees a total of US$43,000 was raised for the IMAC Educational Scholarship Fund.
