The Q3 statistics have been released by the Cayman Islands Monetray Authority’s Insurance Division.  Highlights include:  

• The total number of Class B, C and D entities under supervision is 765
• Total premiums are at $12.4 billion
• Total assets are at $55.1 billion
• Healthcare captives form 34% of the overall total, evidencing Cayman’s dominence in this area
