IMAC’s Annual Gala Raises over US$42,000 for Educational Scholarship Fund

George Town, Grand Cayman – September 18, 2025 – The Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (IMAC) is proud to announce that its Annual Gala & Scholarship Fundraiser, held on September 13 at the Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, successfully raised over US$42,000 in support of the IMAC Educational Scholarship Fund (ESF).

Now a highly anticipated event on the Cayman calendar, the gala welcomed more than 300 guests from the captive insurance and broader financial services sectors. The funds raised will help provide life-changing educational opportunities to young Caymanians pursuing tertiary studies abroad.

“We’re incredibly proud to see such strong support from our industry partners,” said Kieran Mehigan, Chair of IMAC. “Every dollar raised helps expand opportunities for Caymanian students and strengthens the future of our local workforce.”

A moving highlight of the evening was a personal reflection by Jevaughnie Ebanks, a past scholarship recipient, who shared how the programme transformed his academic journey and life path. His story underscored the profound, long-term impact of IMAC’s scholarship initiative.

The 2025 gala was made possible through the generous contributions of RSM, returning as title sponsor of the event.

“At RSM, we are proud and honored to support IMAC’s mission to empower Cayman’s youth. Education transforms lives, and we believe investing in young people creates lasting value for the entire community.” said Richard Wainwright, Partner at RSM.
