Shipping Procedures to Grand Cayman


If you are shipping materials to the Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, please follow the instructions below to help ensure timely and hassle free shipping. N.B. DHL and Fed-Ex Cayman offices are familiar with procedures.

All materials should be shipped to arrive no later than Monday November 20, 2017 to allow time for customs clearance. Do not ship for arrival at the Ritz-Carlton more than 14 days (Monday November 13, 2017) in advance of the event. 

Label ALL boxes and packages with company name, your complete shipper address, phone number and contact person. Number ALL boxes i.e. 1 of 7, 2 of 7, 3 of 7, etc. and address all to:

Contact a customs broker to handle duty charges and clearance procedures when sending any items that have a declared value. Please remember there will be only deliveries during week days (Monday – Friday), please arrange with your custom broker.

Attach and enclose in each box a commercial invoice that itemises all items, exact quantities of each item and the declared value. Handwritten or cash register receipts are not acceptable by customs. It must be an invoice on company letterhead of either the supplier or group.

In order to ensure that the Cayman Islands Government does not charge duty on your booth, promotional items or giveaways, please attach a copy of the Duty Waiver Letter  from the Cayman Islands Government to the Insurance Managers Association of Cayman (available from william.forsythe@caymancaptive.ky) on each box declaring that these items are permitted to be imported duty free.
