The Greg Norman designed Blue Tip deliver fiercely on its shark pedigree. A nine-hole “Caribbean monster," the course rouses golfers with its five long Par Fours into the Caribbean trade winds, which can make a 470-yard hole play like 600.

Exclusive to guests and Residence owners at The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Blue Tip offers golfers the opportunity to make tee times at short notice and the enjoyment of a relaxing pace of play. The private course is perfect for both infrequent players who want to play at their leisure and passionate golfers who want to play multiple rounds in a single day.

Blue Tip is proud to feature a full-service Golf Shop, tournament conditioning, customized instruction and a caddie concierge program. The Blue Tip also offers premium Nike rental equipment for men, women and children in both right and left handed versions.

Blue Tip encourages junior golfers with special offers to help them grow their love of the game. Play for golfers 15 and younger is complimentary for certain tee times after 3:00 p.m. when they are with a paying adult. Children can also get free instruction when they accompany a paying adult on a short game or playing lesson.

Course Description

Hole 1
Medium length Par 4 with water down the right. The favorable target line is the left side of the fairway for the best angle to the green. This hole typically plays into the wind, which could add 2-3 clubs on to your second shot.

Hole 2
558 yard par 5 playing directly into the wind. Water runs down the entire right side and your drive will need to contend with the fairway bunkers on the left. The best play is to lay up to your favorite yardage for your third shot. Accuracy on your approach to the long and narrow green is a must.

Hole 3
Medium length dogleg left par 4 with water down the entire left side. The winds will typically blow your ball to the right, which is well protected by fairway bunkers.

Hole 4
205 yard par 3 over water. This hole typically plays downwind and long and left of the green is well-bunkered. Three palm trees guard the right side of the green.

Hole 5
Short par 4 with water down the left side. Your tee shot will need to favor the right side of the fairway for the best angle into this small green.

Hole 6
Short par 4 that gives golfers the best option for birdie. Errant tee shots to the right will find the fairway bunker and if you go for the green, beware of the water hazard that comes into play short and left of the green.

Hole 7
601 yard par 5 that typically plays downwind. Beware of the massive fairway bunker on the left that will catch a lot of balls from players avoiding the water down the right hand side. The two-tiered green is receptive to a bump-and-run style shot, but avoid the left side of the green and the large collection area.

Hole 8
Medium length par 4 with mangrove down the entire left side. The right side of the fairway is well-guarded with fairway bunkers.

Hole 9
Island green par 3 playing 156 yards from the Blue Tip Tees. Winds on this hole will typically be hurting and from left-to-right. Club selection will be key here as the hole location on this huge green can vary your club selection by 4 or 5 clubs.
